If you started a restaurant, what would it serve, what would it look like and what would you name it? You have an unlimited budget.

It would serve only things that I love to eat: Asparagus, salmon, pasta in ever shape and size, dark chocolate, ice cream, shrimps, grilled peppers, petit fours...
The restaurant would be situated in an fin-de-siecle building with a lovely back yard (with threer with paper lamps in bright colours). There would not be two items of tableware from the same set at any table, and the ceiling is painted blue with and has small, fat angels on it - apart from that, most of the interior is white (oh, and the lamps are funky!)
In the afternoon, we would serve a cheap afternoon tea to anyone with a student ID who brings a coursework book. We would also have a huge christmas party for anyone who doesn't have anyone to spend their holidays with.
As for the name, it should be Fanny Florence's.

2008 is the Year of the Rat. Which animal year were you born in?

I was born in the Year of the Rabbit. Sometimes I find that it compliments my personality quite well - I can be quite nervous and easily frightened. on the other hand, I am calm and pretty slow and can also be loud and determined.

I don't believe in astrology, Western or Chinese, of course (I find it clashes with my scientific schooling), but I do think it is pretty. Also, the heaps of numerology can be fun to play with.

When I was younger, I totally admired my best friend, as she was born in the year of the dragon, which was WAY coolar than the stupid rabbit. About the same time, my family went to China on holiday (this was before the Global warming panicking really started), and one of the souvenirs I brought home was a small rabbit carved from jade. the others were a very happy Buddha and a small porcelain vase, if memory serves me right.
